We highly recommend Hansen HomeCrafters. The owner, Brent Hansen, is an extremely hardworking, dependable, young family man. His helpers are equally hardworking and focused. They built us a beautiful, exceptionally sturdy 12 x 16 deck with landing and stairs. The railing has black, aluminum balusters and adds a contemporary look to the structure. The deck itself is bolted to the house on the inside of the basement in several places. Brent worked with our design for the base of the stairs and added a second landing in order for it to accommodate our dogs entrance into their portion of the fenced portion of the yard, separate from the "people" entrance into the rest of the yard. In addition to their excellent work ethic and know-how, Brent and his crew are polite and respectful. The cost was affordable and in line with other estimates we had gotten. We are very happy we chose to go with Hansen HomeCrafters.

Our home was purchased with an elevated, 2nd story deck that was completely enclosed with railing and offered no access to the yard below. Once our twins turned 18 months old, we needed a solution to the lack of easy backyard access. I contacted Brent and in a week's time he came to our home for a site assessment, discussed several possible stair layouts with the functional pros and cons to each layout, took measurements, and worked up an estimate. Within the month we had an expertly crafted U-shaped staircase that offers us comfortable, safe access to the yard below. I am very impressed with how solidly built the stair case is and the attention to the finishing detail. I look forward to the day when we can make the call to Brent for our screen porch addition.

I had a great experience doing a large home remodel with Hansen Home Crafters! I have a 5,000 square foot French country home that needed a facelift. Hansen was able to design and woodwork original details on many aspects, such as eyebrow cedar arches and columns. I appreciated their ability to problem solve and offer creative solutions while keeping on budget and on time. The project involved moving windows, replacing French doors, decking and arbors, installing cedar shake siding, etc. This is a professional contractor who is honest and talented.

We’ve had a vision for a “Dream Screen Porch” with a fireplace, curtains, special furniture, etc. for several years. When we moved into our new home that was our first “must have”.
Luckily for us we were introduced to Brent Hanson. It was amazing working with him.
“Our” ideas for “our” project became his goal. He brought to us exceptional quality in his craftsmanship and also the compassion for us to have an addition to our home that we wanted and would love! Why do I love Brent Hansen at Hansen Homecrafters, you ask? Well, I inquired with my builder about adding a covered porch to the deck on my house when it was being built, however it was cost-prohibitive. I met with Brent just after closing on the house and just weeks later, the project was completed at a fraction of the cost quoted by my builder. Some years later, the original deck started to pull away from the house as it was not properly attached during construction. One call to Brent Hansen and the problem was resolved within just a couple days and again, at a very affordable price! I intend to build another home in the very near future and will save myself a considerable amout of time by simply calling Brent and getting the job done! I love you Brent!
