Hansen Home Crafters Inc. started business in 2008 serving clients in Gwinnett County.
We started out as a subcontractor working/subbing for large general contractors in Metro Atlanta mainly inside the perimeter.
We have handled all phases of construction and carpentry on all types of jobs including: installing windows, doors, siding, interior and exterior trim, and framing.
The beginning of Hansen Home Crafters actually started when I was 17 years old (1996) working with my uncle who made me a partner after 5 years of working together. In 2008 we decided it was best to go our separate ways… and so began Hansen Home Crafters.
My dream was to utilize all the construction knowledge we had gained over the years and take it to the next level. In 2014 I decided that I would study to get my residential general contractor’s license.
I passed my exam in June 2014 and earned my residential general contractor’s license. After many years of building everything I could get my hands on I decided that my true niche is working on decks and screened porches. I see a huge need for these types of projects and I provide excellent service.

We specialize in framing and carpentry. Hansen Home crafters can build anything you desire from decks and a screened in porch to complete renovations, and new construction. We can also handle second-level additions.
My construction renovation crew is comprised of a group of guys who are very skilled, very dependable and make decent wages. All of them have been with me almost since the beginning.
I have completed so many deck remodels and screen porch additions in the last 18 years that I am able to look at your existing house and help you come up with the perfect design that fits your budget and looks fantastic! We are much more competitive than most companies because we are small and have very little overhead. I don’t have a fancy office. I’m the CEO, the secretary, the designer, the salesman, project manager, and lead carpenter. All construction and renovation work is done by myself and my dependable crew. You’ll see a lot of me during your next deck rebuild or renovation.
